Designed for financial advisers and insurance agents working outside the UK in the banking sector, the Award in Bancassurance provides foundation knowledge in core financial, life assurance and insurance products. You will also learn what constitutes professional practice, providing you with a framework for ethical behaviour.
The Award is suitable for anyone working outside the UK in the insurance and financial services sector. This qualification can only be awarded to non-UK residents.
The Award comprises one compulsory unit, providing 15 CII credits (at Certificate level) on successful completion. These credits can be used towards further CII qualifications.

Additional information for Personal Lines units (PL1-PL4) and selected non-UK units
Enrolments include a digital course as well as study text and assessment entry. The digital course is an interactive course covering the content of the unit syllabus and includes lots of additional features over the study text, such as videos, animations, infographics, illustrations and self-test questions. This is available via RevisionMate and access is only available during your enrolment period (internet connection required; course can only be accessed using a web browser and not via the RevisionMate app).
Additional information for mixed assessment units
Coursework assignments - the coursework assignment is submitted online via Revisionmate. For mixed assessment units, study is based on an 18- month enrolment period from the date of purchase. A combination of a single coursework assignment must be passed within the first six months and an MCQ exam passed within 18 months. Audio revision aids provide an ideal way to reinforce the learning from the study text. They cover the key elements of each subject and last around 3-5 hours, depending on the subject. Video Revision
