The Award in Financial Planning (Hong Kong) - Traditional Chinese provides knowledge and understanding of the financial planning process within a professional business environment and the core financial and life assurance products suitable to a client's needs.
This unit can only be awarded to non-UK residents. This unit is suitable for those at the start of their career or anyone working in financial planning seeking to build their knowledge and understanding of financial planning in Hong Kong through formal study to achieve a professional qualification.
The Award comprises one core unit, Award in Financial Planning (Hong Kong) – Traditional Chinese (HFT), which provides a total of 15 CII credits on successful completion.
These credits can be used to support your ongoing professional development as, on passing the exam, you will hold one of the three units needed to complete the Certificate in Insurance and Financial Services.
Before starting study, check to see whether any of your previous academic qualifications or credits from other professional bodies and institutes can be carried towards completion of the Certificate.

Additional information for Personal Lines units (PL1-PL4) and selected non-UK units
Enrolments include a digital course as well as study text and assessment entry. The digital course is an interactive course covering the content of the unit syllabus and includes lots of additional features over the study text, such as videos, animations, infographics, illustrations and self-test questions. This is available via RevisionMate and access is only available during your enrolment period (internet connection required; course can only be accessed using a web browser and not via the RevisionMate app).
Additional information for mixed assessment units
Coursework assignments - the coursework assignment is submitted online via Revisionmate. For mixed assessment units, study is based on an 18- month enrolment period from the date of purchase. A combination of a single coursework assignment must be passed within the first six months and an MCQ exam passed within 18 months.
