The Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice goes beyond the FCA’s minimum qualification requirements and enables mortgage advisers to continue developing their advice capabilities. It brings you up to speed with recent changes to the mortgage process arising from the Mortgage Market Review. Completion of the Certificate in Mortgage Advice meets the FCA’s qualification requirements for mortgage advisers
The Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice is ideal for mortgage advisers seeking to progress to the highest-level qualification or anyone working in the mortgage market in non-advisory roles, for example, technical consultants or those in support roles. The Certificate is an ideal next step for candidates who hold the Certificate in Mortgage Advice or Certificate in Equity Release, requiring completion of one more unit.
The Certificate comprises three core units, providing 55 CII credits on successful completion.
Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (R01) – 20 CII credits
Mortgage Advice (CF6) – 20 CII credits
AdvancedMortgage Advice (R07) – 15 CII credits
For units in this qualification, students typically have access to the following materials as part of their enrolment:

Additional information for Personal Lines units (PL1-PL4) and selected non-UK units
Enrolments include a digital course as well as study text and assessment entry. The digital course is an interactive course covering the content of the unit syllabus and includes lots of additional features over the study text, such as videos, animations, infographics, illustrations and self-test questions. This is available via RevisionMate and access is only available during your enrolment period (internet connection required; course can only be accessed using a web browser and not via the RevisionMate app).
Additional information for mixed assessment units
Coursework assignments - the coursework assignment is submitted online via Revisionmate. For mixed assessment units, study is based on an 18- month enrolment period from the date of purchase. A combination of a single coursework assignment must be passed within the first six months and an MCQ exam passed within 18 months. Audio Revision
Audio revision aids provide an ideal way to reinforce the learning from the study text. They cover the key elements of each subject and last around 3-5 hours, depending on the subject. Video Revision
