Fellowship

Fellowship is regarded as the premier designation for those working in the financial planning profession. Together with Chartered status, it represents the pinnacle of PFS membership.

Eligibility requirements

Fellowship is available to those who have;

  1. achieved a total of 350 credits; of which
  2. 290 credits awarded for completion of the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning; and
  3. 60 credits awarded for completion of examinations under the CII’s personal finance qualifications framework

Existing members
Your membership status will automatically update to Fellowship upon meeting the above requirements. Once updated you will have access to a new digital membership card and certificate through the ‘My PFS’ portal.

New and reinstating members
If you do not hold a current membership at the time of becoming eligible for Fellowship, you will need to join or reinstate your membership before Fellowship can be added.

You must be a current member to use the Fellowship designation (FPFS).
